Best Gaming Graphics Card To Choose From

There are many gaming graphics on the market right now that anyone can choose from to upgrade their computer. The best ones have names all just made up of numbers and acronyms that people who are not and gamers and do not know anything about computers will find hard to decipher.

There are new arrivals from AMD and Nvidia, the gaming graphics giants in the business. This has caused a lot of activities in the gaming industry.

If you are an avid gamer who finds time to play almost every game that comes out, then you surely know all about the gaming graphics out there and the latest among them. Having the best graphics card in your gaming machine will surely turn it into a thing of attraction when your friends come over.

In this list, I have compiled some of the best gaming graphics cards from world-famous manufacturers. Slide through the list and see if there is one that goes in line with your vision of a perfect gaming graphics card. The majority of these graphics card seems to come from Nvidia.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080

This is probably the best graphics card you will find in 2021. There was a huge hype surrounding its arrival, and it seems not to have disappointed all that hype.

The 3080 version of the Nvidia GeForce is enough proof that there has been a significant leap in gaming graphics design and creation. This card represents the best value for money. 2080 Ti cannot match it in terms of power and performance.

Specs

  • GPU -8,704
  • Base clock- 1, 440MHz
  • Boost clock- 1,710MHz
  • TFLOPS- 29.76
  • Memory- 10GB GDDR6X
  • Memory clock- 19 GT/s
  • Memory bandwidth- 760GB/s

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070

This is another graphic card from Nvidia in the RTX family. It is generally regarded as the underdog when compared to the other two higher-performing graphics cards. But it is one hell of a power card itself and one that should not overlook.

This graphics card offers higher performance when looked at from its price point, although it does not come with GDDR6X found in the 3080.

Specs

  • GPU- 5,888
  • Base clock- 1,500MHz
  • Boost clock- 1,725MHz
  • TFLOPS- 20.37
  • Memory- 8GB GDDR5
  • Memory clock- 14 GT/s
  • Memory bandwidth- 448GB/s

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

If you are looking for something mid-tier but still offers excellent performance, look no further than the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. The AMD undercuts Nvidia by a mere $50 on the price tag.

However, the RX 5700 does not come with ray tracing and tensor cores. Thus, it is not the best graphics card for video games that uses ray tracing or DLSS. However, it is faster than most of the graphics cards in its league.

Specs

  • GPU- 2,560
  • Base clock- 1,605MHz
  • Boost memory- 1905MHz
  • GFLOPS- 9,754
  • Memory- 8GB GDDR6
  • Memory clock- 14GT/s
  • Memory Bandwith- 448GB/s

Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super

This is the cheapest model among the RTX family that still packs enough power for a great gaming experience. Aside from having some of the new features by Nvidia, it also performs way better than the graphics card that it came to replace, which was the Vanilla 2070.

2060 comes with everything in 2070 super stable at a little bit of a fraction, but that is not a problem. If you can make do with a 1080p and 1440p, then 2060 is the graphics card you should, looking at its fair price point.

Specs

  • GPU- 2,176
  • Base clock- 1470MHz
  • Boost clock- 1,650
  • GFLOPS- 7,181
  • Memory- 8GB GDDR6
  • Memory clock- 14 GT/s
  • Memory bandwidth- 448GB/s

AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT

Although people have been looking down on this card because it seems to have fallen in the shadow of graphics released by Nvidia, this card is still one hell of a force to reckon with. This is undoubtedly the card to get if you are cool with playing your games in 1080p. It can get increased clock speeds with a few firmware upgrades. The 5600 XT is one terrific card to have in your arsenal as a gamer.

Specs

  • RDNA- 2,048
  • Base clock- 1,375MHz
  • Boost clock- 1,750MHz
  • TFLOPS- 8.07
  • Memory- 6GB GDDR6
  • Memory clock- 12-14GT/s
  • Memory bandwidth- 288- 336GB/s

Conclusion

With any of these graphic cards in your gaming machine, you are sure to beat the competition while enjoying the best gaming experience ever without having to spend an arm and a leg on it.

It is advisable to check to see if the card you are trying to get to know if has had the BIOS updated to 14Gbps or higher than that.
